BY CAR

From the northeast (New York City)
Take the New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 9. After the toll gate, stay right and get onto Route 18 North. Follow Route 18 North to U.S. 1 South (about 1/2 mile-look carefully as road first curves to the left and soon after to the right near the entrance to U.S. 1.). Take U.S. 1 South about 45 minutes. Go past signs for Princeton until you come to exit for I-295 and 95 South. Take the first exit, marked I-95 South, to Philadelphia. Go about 2 miles and get off at Exit 7B (Rt. 206 North, Lawrenceville). Proceed 1-1/4 miles on Route 206 North to Cold Soil Road (at 4th traffic light, turn left onto Cold Soil Road). Go 3 miles on Cold Soil Road to PCDI driveway on the right, just before Terhune Orchards.


From points north and northwest (Far Hills area)

Follow I-80 or I-78 to I-287 South. Take I-287 to Route 206 South. Follow Route 206 South to Princeton. At the first main light in Princeton (by police station and Borough Municipal Building), Rt 206 makes a turn to the right towards Lawrenceville and Trenton. From that light, continue on Rt. 206 South for 3 -1/2 more miles to Carter Road. The intersection, marked "Hopewell, Carter Rd," has a traffic light. Turn right onto Carter Road. Go 1-1/2 miles to the first traffic light, which is at Cold Soil Road. Turn left. The PCDI driveway is 1/2 mile up, on the left, just after Terhune Orchards.


From the south (Philadelphia)

Take I-95 north to Lawrenceville. Take Exit 7B (206 North, Lawrenceville). Proceed 1-1/4 miles on Route 206 North to Cold Soil Road (at 4th traffic light, turn left onto Cold Soil Road). Go 3 miles on Cold Soil Road to PCDI driveway on the right, just before Terhune Orchards.


From points south via I-295

Take I-295 North to Exit 7B (206 North, Lawrenceville. Proceed 1-1/4 miles on Route 206 North to Cold Soil Road (at 4th traffic light, turn left onto Cold Soil Road). Go 3 miles on Cold Soil Road to PCDI driveway on the right, just before Terhune Orchards.


From the west via the Pennsylvania Turnpike
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 28 North (marked Morrisville-Trenton). Go about 6 miles to I-95 North which becomes I-295 after you cross the Delaware River. Continue on I-295 North to Exit 7B (206 North, Lawrenceville). Proceed 1-1/4 miles on Route 206 North to Cold Soil Road (at 4th traffic light, turn left onto Cold Soil Road). Go 3 miles on Cold Soil Road to PCDI driveway on the right, just before Terhune Orchards.


From Princeton
Take Nassau Street (Rt 27) south towards Lawrenceville. It becomes Route 206 South at the Princeton Borough Municipal Building. From there, take 206 South 3-1/2 miles to Carter Road. The intersection, marked "Hopewell, Carter Rd," has a traffic light. Turn right onto Carter Road. Go 1-1/2 miles to the first traffic light, which is at Cold Soil Road. Turn left. The PCDI driveway is 1/2 mile up, on the left, just after Terhune Orchards.


BY TRAIN

Princeton Junction, Hamilton and Trenton are on the main north-south line of Amtrak and on the New Jersey Transit line, so both have excellent train service from New York (Penn Station), Newark, Philadelphia, and Washington. Taxis are available at all stations. PCDI is about 7 miles from Princeton Junction, 10 miles from Hamilton and about 15 miles from the Trenton station.


BY PLANE

Newark International and Philadelphia International airports are each an hour away, and New York's Kennedy and LaGuardia airports are about 2 hours away. Car rental is available at all of these, and a small bus, the Princeton Airporter, brings travelers from Newark and Kennedy airports into Princeton. It departs from these airports almost hourly between 7:15 a.m. and 10:15 p.m. Call 609-587-6600 for more information about the Princeton Airporter.
